If you choose to use this method, it is still important to send a debt validation letter directly to the credit company. Sending the letter ensures the company is formally placed on notice, even though the 24-hour method itself is effective at getting the item deleted.

Please note: when using this method, you can no longer add notes on Credit Karma for TransUnion, as they have removed the "notes" section. Simply complete the method without adding any verbiage there.
